Ebay [07 Aug 2009|08:13am]

Anyone shop on ebay? Who are some of your sellers you have bought from that you like?

The ones I love are ...

mousepinz ( she always has awesome sales)

These people are selling fakes, the price of the pins should warn you, but just so you know.

Just curious [14 May 2009|02:10pm]

How do you display you disney pins if you do at all? I just bought this display case that can be hung on the wall, and it holds a very small amount I'm on the look out for a couple of more bigger ones since most of my other pins just sit in a box.Photobucket

[ mood | cheerful ]

I'm going home for Christmas to PA (live in Hollywood, CA) and would like to set up a pin trading meet in Hanover or Gettysburg, PA for December 27th or 28th.

I'll have DSF and DLR pins to trade.

It will probably be at a mall with a food court.

Anyone interested?

176 AUTHENTIC DISNEY PINS + Extras! [25 Nov 2007|09:51pm]

[ mood | artistic ]

I collected these pins on my Disney College Program at Walt Disney World and they are just taking up space. So I am selling them to the highest bidder! I MUST RE-ITERATE, THESE ARE AUTENTIC DISNEY PINS. They are not those fake pieces of metal you buy to trade for like $2 for 100 pins.

Hello Out There! [22 May 2007|01:29pm]

I am completely new to pin trading.. just started last week on a trip to Disneyland in CA.

I got a little starter set, and traded 4 pins.. the ones I ended up with were so cool I am now totally hooked.

Some nice cast members told me all about the cast lanyard/hidden mickey pins and I am looking forward to trading a bunch of those on my next trip.

Seems like this place has been pretty quiet, but I hope to post some pics of my small collection soon.

Pin protocol question [25 Feb 2007|01:38pm]

I'm relatively new to the pin trading scene, having only gotten my first pins on my honeymoon (and my first visit to the World in 10 years!) this past June. I recently acquired five limited-edition pins from Disneyshopping.com, and I was wondering: within the pin-trading community, is it normal to save the little black plastic-and-fake-velvet board the pin comes attached to when you first get it? When you trade pins, are expected to provide such a backing board? And for a limited-edition pin, is the board part of the pin's overall collectible value? I'm just not certain if I should be saving these or not; most of the pins I got in the World (about half a dozen) are simply pinned to my lanyard, and I didn't keep the boards for them, but these new limited-edition ones gave me pause.

By the way, all...hi. I'm Adam, I'm 28, and I'm a shameless Disney fan and rapidly becoming a shameless pin collector. I'll post pics of my relatively small collection (as of now, about 15 pins) in the near future, whenever I can get around to photographing and scanning them.

Maleficent pins [14 Feb 2007|09:38am]

[ mood | cheerful ]

Maleficent pins

The one on the bottom right came on my Disneyland Paris Resort Halloween lanyard. It's LE1200. There were two of them, but I gove one to a friend for his birthday, and two of the Evil Queen from Snow White. One again went to a friend for her birthday, and the other one is up for trade :)

The top right one is from Disneyland's/Disney World's Being Bad series.
info from the pin trading site about that one:
Villains Series - Maleficent Being Bad
Date: 02/29/2004
Location: DLR
Retail: $6.50
Edition Size: open

Villains Series - Maleficent Being Bad
Date: 04/05/2004
Location: WDW
Retail: $6.95
Edition Size: open

The one with the pearls is actually a brooch. I'd love to wear that but I'm terrified I'd loose it so I don't :)

And then the one with the firebreathing dragon is from Tokyo Disneyland :)

eBay was once again my friend in acquiring these :)
Not for trade, just part of my collection.

I'd love to see pins from the other members!
